Do you have electric hook up pitches?
Yes. We have a selection of grass pitches with electric hook up across different sizes, suitable for campervans, caravans and motorhomes. You can see which pitch types include electric on our pitch list.
What pitches are best for tents?
Our grass pitches suit everything from small tents to larger family setups. If you are unsure which size you need, our 48m², 64m² and 80m² pitches give the most flexibility.
What pitches suit motorhomes or caravans?
We recommend the 64m², 80m², or extra large 240m² pitches depending on your vehicle size. If your setup is over 10 metres, the extra large pitch is usually the best fit.
Do you offer seasonal or long-stay pitches?
Yes, we offer seasonal pitches for motorhomes and caravans. These are limited and available on request. Please contact us directly on 07624 422994 or email info@ballaughcamping.com to discuss availability.
Are you dog-friendly?
Yes, dogs are welcome with responsible owners. We have a warm water dog shower on site. Please keep dogs on leads around the campsite and clean up after them.
Can dogs be off-lead at Ballaugh Camping?
Yes, dogs are welcome to be off-lead at Ballaugh Camping. We have plenty of open space where your dog can roam freely during your stay. However, we do ask that you keep your dog under control at all times and remain mindful of other guests, especially families with young children. Please keep dogs on leads near the facilities block, communal kitchen cabin, and entrance areas. We also have a warm water dog shower on site for muddy paws after walks. All we ask is that you clean up after your dog and ensure they're friendly with other campers and their pets.
How close are you to Ballaugh Bridge?
We are about a three minute walk from Ballaugh Bridge on the TT course.
Is there public transport nearby?
Yes. Ballaugh village bus stops are a short walk away, with regular services to places like Ramsey, Peel and Douglas. For current routes and times, please check the Isle of Man bus timetables.
What size pitches do you offer?
We offer a range of grass pitch sizes, from compact tent spaces (available during TT and MGP) through to larger touring pitches and extra-large pitches for bigger units.
Can I bring a campervan, caravan or motorhome?
Yes. Ballaugh Camping is set up for touring stays, with grass pitches suitable for campervans, caravans and motorhomes, including electric hook up options on selected pitches.
Do you have pitches for very large motorhomes or groups?
Yes. We have extra-large grass pitches with electric hook up that suit longer vehicles and larger setups. These are limited, so we recommend booking early for peak periods.
Do you offer glamping as well as camping?
We do. Alongside touring pitches, we have a glamping pod and luxury bell tents available during the season.
What facilities are on site?
Our main facilities include warm toilets and hot showers, a communal kitchen cabin with fridges and cooking appliances, laundry, Wi-Fi, a small shop, recycling points, and a warm water dog shower.
Is there a communal kitchen or place to store food?
Yes. We have a communal kitchen cabin with fridges and useful cooking appliances, which guests are welcome to use.
Are there food outlets or takeaways near Ballaugh Camping?
Yes, Ballaugh village has local food options within easy reach of the campsite. The Raven pub is just a 2-minute walk away and serves food, and there's also a village shop nearby for essentials and supplies.
We keep an up-to-date notice board on site with current information about local food outlets, takeaways, opening times, and delivery options. This is particularly helpful during busy periods like TT and MGP when opening hours may vary.

Yes. Our smallest tent pitches are only available during the Isle of Man TT and Manx Grand Prix periods. All other pitch types are available across the season.
